We all know that running shoes, and all exercise shoes, need to be replaced on a regular basis to
prevent injury. But do you REALLY know how many miles you have put on your shoes?
Some of us track our runs using GPS-enabled devices, but they only track your actual workouts.
What about all the extra miles that are put on your shoes walking to and from the car, start lines,
bathroom, etc. The miles will add up and you don’t even know it.
This is where MilestonePod comes in. This tiny device is attached to your show using the
shoelaces and automatically tracks the miles walked or ran on the shoe. It is very simple
to use. There are no buttons to push, no battery to charge, and no need to be tech savvy.
To check the miles you just need to tap the MilestonePod and it will show you!
For those wanting additional details, there is a MilestonePod app for your smartphone.
This app allows you to view mileage, pace, cadence, run history, emergency information,
and more! If you have multiple Pods, you can view the stats for each!
I had recently bought a new pair of running shoes, so it was a perfect time to
attach my MilestonePod. It is lightweight, and I could not feel it attached to my
shoe. After my run, I checked my miles, and it was very similar to my runKeeper
time, with some added distance from walking around before and after.
The MilestonePod is a great and inexpensive product to use when you get new shoes.
I could not find a way to add miles from previous runs, so to have the most accurate
count of mileage, a new shoe is best.
MilestonePod is having an awesome blow-out sale for the month of August, and a
great contest for September! Everyone should get on board and participate!
Lucky for you, I have one MilestonePod
to give away, just in time for the contest!!!
A winner will be selected on August 24, 2014

my honest opinions in this review. These opinions are my own, and I was in no
way financially compensated for this review.
I’ve tried the run mio insert in my shoe to track when they were worn out, but didn’t find it all that helpful. This is a novel concept.
It is very useful and you can’t even tell you are wearing it
I’ve got about 50 miles on each pair. I think. Lol
seems like you need the milestone pod to track them, then!
Im not sure how many on each pair of shoes- I clearly need one of these! Can they be reset after being done with a pair?
Yes, you can reset and use over and over!
Thanks for the review! I haven’t seen this before, but will look into this.
I love mine!
I have never tried a milestone pod! It looks like an awesome way to track your steps.
It is very nifty, and you can’t even tell that you are wearing it!
I think there are about 350 miles on my shoes…
Almost time for a new pair!
I just bought brand new shoes so there are no miles on them!
Well, get some miles on them!!!!
My current pair has only about 50 miles on it. I retired another pair that was getting up in miles though recently.
It’s always hard to retire a pair!
I just got new shoes and they do have like 10 miles on them I don’t want to wear them because I don’t want to put too many miles on them but I do need 50 or so just to get them broke in for a race, its so hard to track the miles 🙁
The MilestonePod will help! I have two pairs of running shoes that I rotate so they don’t get too many miles too fast. Good luck on your race!
I have somewhere between 350-400 miles on my running shoes ( I did not realize I went that far on them) I’m currently waiting for my new ones to come in. Right now I’m dealing with back pain due to the overuse of my current shoes. 🙁
Yikes! Hope they come soon, and then you will be floating on air 🙂
Never even knew a product like this existed – I need this please!
Enter to win! I love my MilestonePods!
I think I have about 200 miles on my shoes. But who knows for sure. 🙂
Well, time to get tracking! 🙂
What an interesting concept. I’ve never heard of this before but would be anxious to try one out!
It’s very useful!
I have about 300 miles on my current pair. I think this is a great idea worth trying.
And it’s almost time for a new pair of shoes!
I was just looking at these instead of a FitBit. All I care about is the distance really. Does it tell you distance or steps? Has it ever fallen off when you used it? Do you have to measure your strides to set it up?
It just tells you distance and stride, etc. But it won’t track anything if you aren’t wearing the shoes, so it might not be as helpful if you are looking at a fitness tracker. I have the Jawbone UP 24 and like it a lot.
