So I was totally planning on running a virtual 10k race on Monday. But it did not happen. So on Tuesday Madre and I went for a short run. We originally planned to go for 3 miles, but ended up running 4. I was still a bit tight in my calves, but I pushed through.
There were a lot of deer. On our way back to the car, we saw a family of 4 door on the wrong side of the fence by the road. We stopped as to not scare them into running in the road. One deer saw us and attempted to jump the fence. He did not make it, and I think he hurt his chest :/ One other deer headed for the road, which was really scary, but eventually all of the deer made it back into the woods.
