Magic Kingdom at night is quite an experience. Even though I didn’t get the best pictures, I hope you can see the beauty of everything. Main Street is all lit up!
We went to MK after the Luau at the Polynesian because there were extra magic hours. After the Fireworks and Parade, tons of people left! This left us with the ability to walk on a lot of rides without a wait – Jungle Cruise, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion, all of which frequently have longer lines. I’m not sure why more people didn’t stay, but I’m glad they didn’t! We ended up staying until it closed!!
Here are some (poor) pictures of the night show at the castle where they superimpose pictures and colors, all synchronized to music. I loved watching this and loved seeing pictures from each movie, from UP to Pocahontas!
Of course, now evening at the Magic Kingdom is complete with out some amazing fireworks!
Another site to see is the Electrical Parade. All the floats are lit up, and it is a good time to see some of your favorite characters. I was standing at the very end of the parade, by the walkway to get across to Splash Mountain. I had a front row view of the parade.
