Crystal City Twilighter

The Crystal City Twilighter is a nighttime 5k put on by Pacers Running. I have run other races with Pacers Running. They really know how to put on a great race! Check out my recaps of the Let Freedom Run 5k and Run With Santa 5k 🙂

The Crystal City Twlighter will take place on July 22, 2017 at 8:30pm in Arlington, VA. The 5k registration fee is $25 for youth and $35 for adults.

5 Reasons to Run the Crystal City Twilighter

1. LIGHT UP THE NIGHT JULY 22! I love night races! There’ll be no moon to speak of, but there will be a glow on the streets of Crystal City. Come join us on a hot, sweaty midsummer Saturday night to run a fast, flat, and illuminated 5K course.

2. Teams can compete for the title of “Run Club Throw Down” champion. Gather friends and register a team and compete to be the biggest, fastest, strongest, and smartest team in all the land. Not only will teams be given a designated meeting place with the team name near the starting line, but they’ll also score a premium heat decal for each teammate to mark Run Club Throw Down 2017, and $5 off the registration fee for each team member. Plus, the race will donate to the winning team’s charity of choice!

3. Support the running community and local charity: Doorways for Women and Families. This race supports Doorways for Women and Families, an organization that creates pathways out of homelessness, domestic violence and sexual assault leading to safe, stable and empowered lives.

4. Flexible packet pick-up is available! Pick up your packet now through July 21st during store hours at Pacers Clarendon. Plus, you get $20 off your next pair of running shoes when you pick up your packet before June 30th! Race-day pickup is also available from 5PM to 8:30PM!
