My favorite place to eat at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is called Tusker House. This is a character buffet that offers African-inspired dishes. I have eaten before and love to come back, especially for breakfast and lunch.

The chef took us around the buffet and showed us what was both gluten-free and vegan. The tofu on the buffet is fried in a not-ok fryer, so I asked for a specially made dish for me. Yummy! They use really good spices and it included some squash and zucchini.
Along with some Mickey Waffles (not pictured), my other favorite are the plantains and potatoes. I could eat these my the dozen! There are also a good number of salads and vegetable dishes that are available at the buffet, but my stomach is only so big!
The characters at this buffet are all dressed in safari gear. They circulate around the restaurant, spending a few moments at each table for pictures and autographs.

I love this place, but it is a bit pricey, so it is certainly a treat!
