Turkey Trot 10k
Now she has an awesome time to submit for Disney Princess Weekend in February.
I also did really well despite the fact that this race was through a neighborhood and was very hilly. VERY HILLY. I had my RunKeeper set to 3:15-45 intervals, which I kept for a few rounds, but eventually had to walk a bit more up the hills. I probably should have stuck to 3-1, but it is ok, I finished with an overall pace of 10:17! That is pretty fast for me! I finished in 1:03:44, with is 6 minutes, 5 seconds faster than the same race last year! This was a PR for me! Maybe next year I can get it under 1 hour…!
The race was well organized and the course was clearly marked, with supporters cheering along the way. The only downsides were that there was no finisher’s ribbon like last year, and I didn’t win a raffle. Oh well.
