A Real Life UP House!

While in Utah in 2012, I went to the UP house. This house was built as a Parade of Homes model, and then was being auctioned off. I wish I could live there! The details of each room were amazing and it was so fun šŸ™‚ The living room Sitting room Kitchen Carl and Ellie’s bedroom Master bath Baby’s room Mural in baby’s room Since not all the rooms were shown in the movie, the builder/decorators used their imagination! Luray Caverns

For Memorial Day weekend Nathan and I decided to go visit Luray Caverns. We stayed at a Bed and Breakfast and had a relaxing time. Here I am all ready to go out for dinner: In the caverns. I thought it would be in a mountain, but all the caverns are underground.     There is an organ that plays using theĀ stalactites.   There was a puddle under all of these, and the reflection looked so cool.   We also visited an old car museum.…

Philly Day 2&3

Day 2 was our fun day. We started off on a Duck Tour of Philly:     Then we went to Dave and Busters for lunch. We got game gards, and look – I hit the jackpot! Here are my wonderful chaperones: and one table of kids: After we went to the Abramson Center (Jewish Home) and gave a short concert: Later that evening we had…

Hemlock Overlook

We went back to Hemlock Overlook to try the other trail. The trail we did last week went through the woods, up and down hills, until it reached the river. This trail took you straight to the river, and then along it over rocks. Next time, I would like to put the two trails together for a longer hike. All of these trails are apart of theĀ Bull Run-Occoquan Trail, which covers 17-miles and is apart of what was used in the Civil War. One day…

Busch Gardens Orchestra Trip

Yesterday was my spring orchestra trip to Busch Gardens. The day started out at 4am when my alarm went off. After quickly getting ready, we stopped at CVS for some sunscreen, and then drove to school. The bus came at 5:30 and then we left. We got to Williamsburg in about two hours and were ahead of schedule so we let the kids go get breakfast. Luckily there was a shopping center with a lot of fast food, an IHOP and a Wal-mart, so they…
