Five Favorite Winter Activities in the Washington, D.C. Area

It is finally after Thanksgiving and that means that it is officially the holiday season! I am not traveling at all this holiday season, so I will have lots of time to relax and enjoy all the festive offerings around the Washington, D.C. area in December. Here are my Five Favorite Winter Activities in the Washington, D.C. Area: 1. Vegan & Gluten-free in Connecticut – It’s Only Natural Restaurant

For Christmas, Nathan and I traveled up north to New Hampshire. On our way there, we were driving through Connecticut and were getting hungry for dinner. What a fun job it must be to be able to work on designing and building these works of art! There are 400 Walt Disney World horticulturists that install all of the flowers, and 100 of them maintain them during the…

Disney’s Grand Floridian & Decorated Easter Eggs

While I will most likely stay at the Grand Floridian because it is so expensive (waaaah!!!), I love to  go hang around the resort. Luckily, it was just before Easter, so they had some fun decorated, EDIBLE chocolate eggs on display. They were so amazing! Grand Floridian Resort I took the monorail to the Grand Floridian Resort after dinner at the Polynesian Village one evening to look at the Easter Eggs and wander around a bit before heading to the Magic Kingdom. Exiting the monorail, you…
