The Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon took place over Labor Day Weekend 2018. It was a sunny and hot weekend, great for running and the beach! Check out this recap of the race and how I did!
I was sent a pair of the new Under Armour HOVR Sonic shoes to test out! Woohoo for new shoes, especially when you are supposed to be marathon training…(I see you Marine Corps Marathon…) I am also excited to test them out as I train for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon, coming up this September!
The Fredericksburg Semper Fi 5k took place on Sunday, June 3, 2018. Put on by Bishop’s Events, this race also offered a 10k race distance.
It was POURING RAIN this morning. Like, monsooning. Regardless, I got my butt out of the door and drove down to Old Mill Park, a place where I have ran many Bishop’s Events races.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon is coming up soon in just a few months. Join me in Virginia Beach from September 1-2, 2018 for a party of a weekend. Sun, running, music, and beach. What could be better? Here are 5 reasons why you should join me!
National Running Day (also known as Global Running Day) was on June 6. It is a worldwide celebration of running that encourages everyone to get moving, regardless of how far or how fast. I haven’t been running during the week very frequently, so this day was a great chance to kick-off summer and my training for the Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon, which takes place in September! (P.S. Use code: “RNRBRP2018” for $15 off the half marathon and come join me!)
