Vegan & Gluten-free at Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Satu’li Canteen

Disney World‘s new Avatar-themed land, Pandora, opens on May 27, 2017 at Animal Kingdom. I was lucky to catch a soft opening the day before. The Flight of Passage ride was absolutely amazing and is totally worth whatever the wait is. I was super excited the Satu’li Canteen was open because I knew they would have vegan and gluten-free options on the regular menu. Let me tell you – Satu’li Canteen is my new favorite quick-service at Animal Kingdom! The menu includes “Build-your-own” bowls. I…

Vegan & Gluten-free at the ABC Commissary – Disney’s Hollywood Studios

ABC Commissary is located in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios. The quick-service restaurant  is a studio-inspired cafeteria with an Art Deco setting. Film posters line the walls, and movie trailers play on the TVs. The Menu The ABC Commissary menu includes such items as Bacon Cheeseburgers, Chicken Breast Nuggets, a Mediterranean Salad, a Chicken Club Sandwich, and a Chicken and Ribs Combo Platter. Allergies As I am both gluten-free and vegan, it is sometimes hard to find things to eat while in the parks. The allergy…

Vegan & Gluten-free at Captain’s Grille – Disney’s Yacht Club

One of the lesser known restaurants in Walt Disney World is Captain’s Grille, located at Disney’s Yacht Club. This is a great restaurant that is often overlooked. It is modeled on an old-fashioned yacht club, featuring breakfast buffet, seafood & steaks. But, it also has great vegan & gluten-free potential! After a day at Epcot, Nathan and I were hungry for a dinner.,but didn’t have a reservation anywhere. And, unfortunately, Tutto Italia (where we originally wanted to eat) didn’t have any availability. We went on the…

Vegan & Gluten-free at Chef Mickey’s – Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Out of all the times I have been to Disney World, I hadn’t eaten at the acclaimed Chef Mickey’s. So, last trip we found a reservation for breakfast and went to see our favorite mouse!

Chef Mickey’s is located inside the Contemporary Resort near the Magic Kingdom. We took a bus from our resort to MK and then walked over to the Contemporary.

Vegan & Gluten-free at Disney World’s Rose & Crown

There aren’t that many places in Epcot that I like to eat. Most of the places don’t cater too well to the vegan, gluten-free lifestyle in an affordable way. Our favorite place to eat is Tutto Italia, but there were no walk-up reservations available for the day that we met up with friends.
