Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

This past July 2014 Nathan and I stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House. We booked using our DVC points and had a split stay. Our first 3 days were spent in a Studio Savannah View Room, and then we spent 4 days in a Studio Standard View Room. We were on the 5th floor for both of our rooms. Our Savannah view was all the way at the end closer to Kidani Village, and our Standard view was all the way…

Breakfast at The Mara

*This dining experience took place in July 2014* Nathan and I were up early one morning and wanted to get some breakfast before heading out for the day. While waiting for our table we went on a hunt for the tortoise! He was positioned perfectly behind the sign to make a great picture! We got to our table and ordered…

We have previously eaten at Boma for dinner and have enjoyed our experiences. We were lucky and got a table in about 5 minutes! Chef Frank came to our table and took us around the buffet showing us what we could eat. On the buffet we could…

Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

*This dining experience took place in May 2013* After the Expedition Everest Challenge Family Edition, we all went to Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. I love this restaurant! They had just changed the menu, and I wanted to check it out. I ordered a lot of food to give me fuel for the race that evening. For appetizer I ordered the Papadum Service with Red Chile Sambul, Coconut Chutney, and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. For my second (!) appetizer I ordered Chana Spinach something. Chef…
