Be Our Guest Lunch at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

One of the most coveted reservations at Disney World seems to be at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom. They recently opened the restaurant for breakfast, which I have yet to try out, but I did get a last-minute (I checked the My Disney Experience app at 11:30 while I was in line for a meet & greet with Winnie the Pooh and got a reservation for 30 minutes later!) lunch reservation. Be Our Guest – Lunch I checked in at the reservation table,…

Christmas Time at Disney World

Welcome back to the Mickey Monday linkup: the linkup centering around a love for Disney, sharing that love and connecting with others. I hope this linkup will become a great place to turn to for Disney content each week by helping readers find that great mouse-eared content. I’m co-hosting with John from Run. Geek. Run (disney), so of course check him out.  I was at Disney World right when the Christmas Season was beginning. I went down for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend and was hoping to…

Holiday Decorations at Walt Disney World

Have you ever been to Walt Disney World during the Christmas season? The parks and resorts are bursting with Christmas cheer. Disney starts decorating on November 1st each year. It has always amazed me to see pumpkins outside the Magic Kingdom Train Station and in Town Square on October 31st and then be greeted on November 1st by poinsettias and nutcrakers. The Magic Kingdom is fully decorated by mid November, just in time for the start of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party events. All the parks and resorts are Christmas card ready by November 20th.

This left us with the ability to walk on a lot of rides without a wait – Jungle Cruise, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion, all of which frequently have longer lines.…

Yes, Nathan and I dressed like Minnie and Mickey one day! It’s just more fun that way!     The bridge to Tomorrowland is the perfect place for selfies! You get the castle, the gardens, and the pond! Just don’t take a selfie with this side of the bridge…they are doing…

Vegan & Gluten-free at Disney’s Magic Kingdom – Crystal Palace

*This dining experience took place in July 2014* Nathan and I were looking for a place to eat for lunch and called the reservation line to see what was available for that afternoon. We decided on Crystal Palace and made our reservation for an hour and a half later. Perfect time to make our way from Downtown Disney to Magic Kingdom. We were seated and waited for the chef to come out and show us what we were able to eat. I don’t remember her…
