Have you had a chance to visit the BOATHO– USE Restaurant at Disney Springs yet? I have yet to eat there, but I did find out about a special new item that is sold in the gift shop! Here come the DUCKS! Donald Duck might not be there, but there are some other ducks swimming around! In a move that would make Disney’s famous duck proud, Rubba Ducks®, the premiere rubber duck toys with personality, has aligned with the BOATHO– USE in Disney Springs in an exclusive…

Splitsville Orlando | DVC Member Night

Splitsville at Disney Springs Nathan and I arrived at Disney World mid-day, checked in to Old Key West, and really did not want to head to the park quite yet. We were hungry so we decided to head over to Disney Springs to see what we could catch for dinner without having a reservation. We walked into Splitsville and were seated immediately. We looked at the menu and I was pleased to see that all the gluten-free dishes were marked accordingly. Nathan decided to order a…

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC – Disney Springs Orlando

Gluten-free and vegan people rejoice! Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC (formerly BabyCakes) is officially open in The Landing area of Disney Springs)! Yay! Back when this bakery was BabyCakes , it was just a counter service in Downtown Disney. Now, it is a full bakery located in a nice new area of Disney Springs. This bakery is 100% gluten-free. It is also dairy-free, vegan, and soy-free. There is tons of yummy stuff to choose from. My favorites are the cookie sandwiches and the donuts. This cookies & cream…

Downtown Disney

It’s always fun to go to Downtown Disney for some shopping, eating, and entertainment. Even though it is full of construction right now to get ready for Disney Springs, it is worth checking out! You have a great view of Saratoga Springs across the water! It’s fun to visit the stores, such as the Fit2Run store. It was quite busy in there! It’s also a good place to take selfies 🙂 Admiring the awesome larger-than-life LEGO creations outside the LEGO store.   I love this Lady and the…

Wolfgang Puck

*This dining experience took place in July 2014* We had just arrived in Disney World and found out that some old friends were in the area as well, so we decided to meet up for dinner. We made reservations at Wolfgang Puck in Downtown Disney. Entering in to the cafe, we were not as impressed as we were back in 2008 when we first ate here. It was loud and a bit messy. No chef came out to see me, but the waiter went…

Carb-loading at Disney World

What better time to eat lots of Disney food and not care about healthy items is when you are running 4 races!! Here is where and what I ate for Dopey Weekend! Art of Animation – Landscape of Flavors After the 5k, we went to our favorite quick-service breakfast spot: Art of Animation. The service was a bit slow (The chef was not Allison, who is usually quick), but my usual meal hit the spot. Later that night, we ate at Be Our Guest. You…

Walt Disney World Marathon

Sunday morning (err…night…hmm…) brought my last 3am wakeup call for the Dopey Challenge. Heidi had crashed in my room the night before, so we would be ready to catch the bus. For the marathon, I was dressed as Orange Bird. A lot of people who aren’t Florida locals (or obsessed people who go do MK all the time), don’t know who Orange Bird is. The Orange Bird is a character created by Disney for the Florida Citrus Commission as a mascot and is a character at Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland at…

Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney

*This dining experience took place in March 2013*  If you have allergies or any sort of dietary restriction – DO NOT EAT at the Rainforest Cafe!!! We went to the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney with my family because they had some free kid’s entree coupons. What a disaster! I had called out the chef to see if there was anything that they could make me. They had nothing!!! They couldn’t even make me a decent salad… I ended up with this nacho plate. As…
