Vegan & Gluten-free at Disney’s California Adventure – Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill

After the Disneyland Half Marathon, I was famished! After races I tend to go to my favorite Indian Restaurant for their lunch buffet, but since I was at Disneyland, and not Virginia, that was not an option. Luckily, I was at Disneyland so there were lots of places for me to try out! My family agreed to meet at the Pacific Wharf in Disney’s California Adventure after everyone had a chance to shower. I hobbled over to the park (with a swollen ankle) and met up…

Disneyland

Welcome back to the Mickey Monday linkup: the linkup centering around a love for Disney, sharing that love and connecting with others. My hope is the linkup will help become a great place to turn to for Disney content each week and help all the bloggers participating out by helping readers find that great mouse-eared content. I’m co-hosting with John from Run. Geek. Run (disney), so of course check him out. Each week we’ll both have the linkup widget, so you’ll be able to get to all…

Disneyland Half Marathon

Disneyland Half Marathon See my recap of the Disneyland 10k here! I was a bit nervous heading out for this half marathon because of spraining my ankle the day before at the Disneyland 10k. My foot was super swollen the night before and a pretty sore. Regardless, I wrapped it up pretty good with some KT tape, and hoped for the best. I got to the corrals and met up with some of my family. Marty, Nathan, and I all dressed up as Olaf. And…

Radiator Springs at California Adventure

Day 1 of my Disneyland Adventure for the Dumbo Double Dare Race Weekend of course included exploring the parks. We got up nice and early to be at the entrance to California Adventure before it opened for Extra Magic Hours. When we finally got in, we rushed to Radiator Springs in hopes of securing a fastpass for Radiator Springs Racers for later that day. We had to wait a bit longer inside the park until the Cast Members were ready for us. We…

Disneyland 10k

2014 Disneyland 10k On Saturday morning my alarm went off at 4am. Luckily, we were staying at the Paradise Pier Hotel, so the start line was just a few minutes walk away. I had my outfit all laid out from the night before so I just had to put on my clothes and running gear and head out the door. My family decided to dress up as Winnie the Pooh and Friends. Sadly, we didn’t get a picture of all of us together until after the…

Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend Expo

Friday morning, after a trip to Radiator Springs, California Screamin’, and Ariel’s Grotto for breakfast, Nathan and I headed over to the Disneyland Hotel where the expo was being held. We needed to pick up our bibs, shirts, and any other goodies that we found! You had to go down in the parking garage/basement area to pick up your bibs and pre-ordered items. This is also where I got my Coast-to-Coast wristband that I had to wear for the entire weekend. I had one bib…
