5 Reasons to Run the Jingle All The Way 5k & 15k!
The Jingle All the Way 5k & 15k is put on by Pacers Running and takes place on December 10, 2017 in Washington, D.C.
1. There are multiple race options.
Enjoy a Winter run through the heart of Washington, D.C.! The Jingle All The Way is a holiday-themed race that draws a huge crowd of costume-wearing runners and walkers. The Jingle All The Way race offers both the 5K and a 15K option – a distance for everyone!
2. It’s a flat and fast course through Washington, D.C.
The course takes you through the streets of downtown Washington, DC, with amazing views of famous Monuments and the Potomac River. The Start and Finish lines for both races are located on 15th Street NW, directly next to the Washington Monument!
Highlights include running on the Rock Creek Parkway, passing the Kennedy Center, and views of the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and Tidal Basin before hitting the home stretch.
At several points along the 15K course, runners will double back and pass other participants going the other way. This gives you plenty of chances to see everyone dressed up in fun costumes and adorned with jingle bells, which makes for an incredibly fun and festive experience.
3. Fun SWAG
Instead of the typical race shirt, runners of the Jingle All The Way 5k & 15k will get an awesome winter beanie! Look how cute this hat is! I have enough race shirts … I like getting something different! (One race I did gave away beach towels!). Other great freebies including hot refreshments and some jingle bells you can tie to your shoes or outfit.
4. Flexible Packet Pick-Up
Bibs are available for pick-up at Pacers 14th Street and Pacers Alexandria on Friday and Saturday prior to the race.
